Seminary Scholarships
Scholarship Criteria and Award Process
The Vietnamese Alliance Northeast (VANE) offers a number of scholarships, which are made available through the generosity of local Alliance churches, centers, and friends of VANE. If you believe you might qualify for one of these scholarships, you are encouraged to apply. Students must be enrolled or accepted into one of the seminary degree programs. Students must be enrolled full time or part time in both the fall and spring semesters for the year in which the scholarship is awarded.
The application is accepted on a rolling basis.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant:
Must study or pursue a post-secondary degree in the field of Christian and Biblical studies including Pastoral Ministry, Christian Counseling and Leadership.
Should hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
The Foundation does not support general undergraduate studies, short-term workshops, conferences and seminars. Such applications will not be considered.

A parishioner or active member of the Vietnamese Christian and Missionary Alliance Church
An American citizen or permanent resident of United States of America
A minimum 18 years of age at the start of the academic year school year

Decisions on awarding the scholarship are made on the assessment of the information gathered in the application process.

Condition of Scholarship Being Awarded
Candidates selected will be emailed a conditional offer of the scholarship. They will be asked to provide validation of the enrollment in the upcoming academic school year by a given deadline in an accredited college and pursuing a degree in Christian and Biblical studies including Pastoral Ministry, Christian Counseling and Leadership. Once validation has been completed, the conditions will be removed, and they will be awarded the scholarship.

Scholarship Being Awarded
When candidates have met all the conditions, scholarship recipients will be notified by email of their award. As a courtesy, applicants who are not awarded a scholarship will also be notified by email.
